These options DO NOT rely on the 'Select' field being checked.

  • Subsequent steps ONLY - The system moves the selected step and all steps that came before it; all steps in the future are left in place.
Balance Load

This option is only applicable for Work Center details and is not available in Employee, Department, or Job Number View.

Click this button to cause the jobs in the grid to automatically reschedule the steps assigned to the work center from the top down.

  • Prior to using this option, place the jobs in the desired order of completion starting with the first job at the top and going down from there.
  • Once jobs have been placed in the desired order, edit the start and end date of the top job if needed.
  • After clicking the button, determine whether the utility should remove any gaps that would otherwise exist between each step by placing a check in the box provided.
    • Leaving the box blank may lead to gaps between one or more steps as indicated.

As noted in the prompt provided, using this feature will override any manual changes made to any job other than the one at the top of the grid.

Balance Load cannot be used on Work Centers that use the 'Finite' Loading Method.
