How to Schedule Employee Training

System Location: Data Entry > Quality > Employee Training

This document takes you step by step through the use of this application in JobBOSS2. The example scenario uses sample data and portrays a standard use of the application.

About Employee Training

Employee training sessions can be scheduled and tracked here in the Quality module. Training Codes can be set in Table Maintenance and are included here (For more information see Employee Training Codes.). It's important to note that employees who will be using the Quality and Contact Management modules must have User IDs associated on their Employee Code.

Scheduling an Employee Training Session

  1. Go to the blue Data Entry tab, open the Quality dropdown menu, and select Employee Training.
  2. Highlight the row of an employee and click Edit.
  3. Go to the Line Items section and click Add Row.
  4. Select a Start Date and an End Date.
  5. Select a Training Code from the dropdown menu.
    • If the Training Code you need was not entered into the system prior to now, create a new one by selecting <Add New>.
    • Once you select a Training Code, the other fields will automatically populate.
  6. Click Save to save the training session and exit the screen.

Return to the Training Session to mark line items as complete.
