About the Smooth OT Utility

The Smooth OT Utility spreads any overtime costs across all the jobs that took place during the selected time frame. This prevents the jobs worked on during the overtime period from incurring all the additional labor costs.

Overtime settings are formatted in the Employee table. For more information see Employees.

Using the Smooth OT Utility

  1. Go to the red Settings tab, open the Misc Utilities dropdown menu, and select Smooth OT.
  2. Enter the Date Range for the jobs that will split the overtime costs.
  3. Click Process.
