About JobBOSS2
This area provides access to information related to licensing, users, and current data collection attendance logins.
This section displays the current available update for On-Premise customers, along with the related release notes. Customers can click the link to download the .exe file and begin the update process.
If your company has specials created by the Custom Development team, there will be another link for the Custom Development Utility. For more information see How to Run the On-Premise Custom Development Utility.
This section displays the following read only fields for reference.
User ID
This is the ID used to log in to the system.
Company Name
JobBOSS2 Contract Level
This determines the applications and amount of support options available for use. Options include:
Contact support (800-677-9640) or your sales person (800-525-2143) for information related to the various Contract Levels.
Update Level
- This represents the most recent update or "patch" number applied.
The following options are available for use.
License Agreement
Click this button to display a PDF of the End User License Agreement (EULA) for JobBOSS2.
Refresh Screen
Click this button to update the information on the screen without having to leave the page.
- This would be useful in situations where additional seat licenses have been purchased but are not yet displaying.
Data Dictionary
Use this dropdown menu to select output options for the JobBOSS2data dictionary.
This section displays the following read only fields for reference.
Organization and Licensed To
These fields indicate the company the software belongs to.
PIN Code
This is your company's PIN Code.
System Ship Date
This is the date system activation links were provided.
License Start Date
This represents the beginning of the current license contract.
License End Date
This represents the end of the current license contract.
License Date
This represents the date your system information was entered into our corporate records.
Number of Companies
This represents the number of independent instances of JobBOSS2 you have purchased.
JobBOSS2 Named Seats
This value represents the total number of seat licenses you purchased that allow full access to the main JobBOSS2 application.
JobBOSS2 Named Seats Assigned
This value indicates the number of Users that have been provided "full access" (that is, not marked as View Only.)
- This value cannot exceed the number of Named Seats purchased.
Data Collection Seats
This value represents the total number of seat licenses you purchased that allow access to the Data Collection application.
Data Collection Seats Assigned
This value indicates the number of Employee Codes that have been marked as a Data Collection User.
- This value cannot exceed the number of Data Collection Seats purchased.
Hosted Region Name
This indicates the location in which ECI Software Solutions, Inc. hosts your data on our product.
Grid
This grid displays a list of all active Users in the selected company. Information displayed includes:
- User ID and User Name
- An Online checkbox that indicates whether the user is currently logged in or not
- The user's Last Access Date
This list includes users that have been assigned a Named Seat and those that are marked as View Only.
Delete Session
This button allows you to log out all other users from the software.
- Select (highlight) a user and click Delete Session to remove them from the software.
- This functionality will also work on users who do not appear to be "online" on the grid, because the grid does not update in real time, and a user may have logged in since you opened the About JobBOSS2 page.
- If a user is in the middle of creating a record or performing an action within the software, their work will NOT be saved when you delete their session. It is recommended that you inform all users before using this function.
This grid displays a list of employees that are currently clocked in to Data Collection for attendance purposes. Information displayed includes:
- Employee Number and Name
- The date and time the employee clocked in
- The number of hours that have elapsed since they clocked in
- The Attendance Code used when they clocked in
This grid does not display information related to time tickets.
