Create a Document Review Code

System Location: Settings > Base Tables > Document Review Codes

Document Review Codes can be used to indicate how frequently documents should be reviewed and provide a means to schedule those reviews when the Quality Application is available.

  1. Click the Settings button.Settings_Button
  2. Open the Base Tables dropdown menu.
  3. Select Document Review Codes.
  4. Click New (located at the top of the page.)

Provide Values

Provide information for the fields listed below at a minimum to take advantage of JobBOSS2's reporting and analysis tools in addition to benefiting from its ability to pass information along from one part of the software to another.

An asterisk [*] indicates a required field.

  1. Provide information as appropriate:
    • *Review Code: Identifies the frequency of the review
    • Description: Appears on Document Review Code Navigator and various reports for reference
    • Job Number: Can assign a job to track time and costs for internal reviews
    • Employee: Can assign an employee to identify who performs internal reviews
    • Vendor: Can assign a vendor to identify who performs external reviews
    • Cost: Indicates the expected cost of external reviews
  2. Click 'Save' to save the record.
    1. Use the Save dropdown menu if you want to create a new record or print a report upon saving.
