About the Refresh Job Requirements Utility

This topic discusses the Refresh Job Requirements utility, which updates job requirements on jobs with altered release quantities. If a release is added to an order that exceeds the original quantity ordered, the Refresh Job Requirements utility will add requirements to the job in order to complete the addition to the order. The Refresh Job Requirements utility will not adjust the cost against the job.

This utility adds job requirements to a job. If you are reducing a release quantity, this utility will NOT return the excess to stock. You should perform a Job To Stock transfer for reduced releases.

Using the Refresh Job Requirements Utility

  1. Go to the red Settings tab, open the Misc Utilities dropdown menu, and select Refresh Job Req.
  2. Decide if you want to refresh all jobs or one specific job.
    • All Jobs
      • Click Process.
    • Single Job
      • Check the Refresh Job box.
      • Click Search to find your job number.
      • Click Process.
