How to Create a Work Center Maintenance Task

System Location: Data Entry > Quality > Work Center Maintenance

This document takes you step by step through the use of this application in JobBOSS2 . The example scenario uses sample data and portrays a standard use of the application.

How to Create a Work Center Maintenance Task

  1. Go to the blue Data Entry tab, open the Quality dropdown menu, and select Work Center Maintenance.
  2. Highlight a work center from the navigation grid and click Edit.
  3. In the Line Items section, click Add Row.
  4. Select a Start Date.
    • This date can signify the specific date you need the maintenance done, or it can serve as the beginning of a time frame in which you need to complete the maintenance.
  5. Select an End Date.
    • The system will automatically populate the same date as the start date.
  6. Select a Maintenance Code from the dropdown menu.
    • Once you select a code, the Description, Employee, and Cost columns will automatically populate.
  7. Fill in any additional information you need on the maintenance task you just created.
  8. Click Save to save your changes and exit the Work Center Maintenance Detail.

Return to the Work Center Maintenance Task to mark line items as complete.
