Feedback Records

System Location: Data Entry > Quality > Feedback

This document takes you step by step through the use of this application in JobBOSS2. The example scenario uses sample data and portrays a standard use of the application.

About Feedback Records

Feedback can be used in association with Customer Returns, Vendors, or Employees. Entering a Return Number or Order Number will populate the form. For employees or vendors, these fields will remain blank. They can also be used as stand alone items and completed when requested. In conjunction with a customer, vendor, or employee, use the drop-down arrow to select one. Feedback Codes can be set in Table Maintenance to be included here. There is a corresponding Feedback Summary that recaps any entries made.

Creating a Feedback Record

This example creates a new Feedback that is associated with a customer return.

  1. Go to the blue Data Entry tab, open the Quality dropdown menu, and select Feedback.
  2. Click New.

General

  1. Select a Customer Return No. by typing it in the field or using the Search function.
    • This selection will automatically populate the fields related to the Customer's P.O.
  2. (OPTIONAL) Fill in the following fields:
    • Employee Code
    • Vendor Code
    • Contact
    • Feedback Code
  3. Enter Comments if applicable.

Resolution

  1. (OPTIONAL) Select the Create CAR for this customer feedback check box if you want a CAPA created along with the Feedback.
    • The CAR No. field will populate if you do select Create a CAR for this customer feedback.
  2. Select a Corrective Action Code from the dropdown menu.
    • It is recommended that you use the same code listed on the Customer Return.
  3. Enter Resolution notes and Follow Up / Close Out notes in the respective fields.
  4. Have the manger overseeing the follow up enter a Manager Close Out code and Close Out Date.
  5. Click Save to save the Feedback Record and exit the screen.
    • Use the Save dropdown menu if you want to create a new record or print a report upon saving.
