Values displayed in the 'Qty Remaining' and 'Qty Required' fields represent the amount of material that will be left in inventory and that will still required on the associated job (respectively) based on the value listed in 'Qty To Post' when the utility is successfully completed.

ClosedPost Fewer Units Than Assumed

This scenario assumes the default quantity to post to the selected job needs to be reduced, perhaps so the material will remain available for an incoming job.

If the quantities for every job listed need to be edited, clicking the 'Zero Grid' button reduces the 'Qty To Post' for every line item to zero at one time.

    • The 'Qty Remaining', 'Qty To Post', and 'Qty Required' fields reflect the adjusted values.
  6. Click 'OK' to close the utility and post the material.

ClosedPost From A Different Bin Location / Lot

This scenario assumes the quantity to post remains the same, but should be posted from a different Bin Location / Lot than selected by the utility.

  1. Select the part / job to edit.
    • A part will be listed as a separate line item for each job that it is required for.

    • A part will be listed as a separate line item for each job that it is required for.
