Global Features of JobBOSS2
Global features represent options found in most areas of JobBOSS2 that offer the same type of general functionality but can be used to accomplish specific things within each area of the software.
The Audit Trail feature is used to provide details about actions involving records throughout JobBOSS2.
The Chat feature provides the ability to message JobBOSS2 users from within the system.
These features allow for the association of external files to records within JobBOSS2.
Quickview provides the ability to review information within JobBOSS2 without having the ability to make changes to it.
The Contact Calendar provides users with an internal calendar that can be used to track activities and appointments. Entries can be of any sort, however the most powerful aspect of this feature is the ability to link actions and followup activities with records created in JobBOSS2 such as Quotes and Orders.
Triggers provide a means of notifying one or more individuals when pre-defined actions take place within JobBOSS2, such as when an order for a specific customer is created.
Where User-Defined Fields Are Located
User Defined Fields provide the ability to track information throughout the system that is not included in one of the fields already provided.
